Competitions
This competition looked for innovative concepts to reinvigorate San Francisco's dilapidated waterfront. We recognized that the 'Emabarcadero' was no longer an edge from which people and cargo departed, but a wall of abandonned warehouses that divided the City from the Bay. Our solution created a vast promenade on reclaimed park land established between existing unused piers.
The Juice
This nationwide competition sought to establish an innovative memorial to the victims of violence. The site was the open plaza in front of the Los Angeles County Courthouse, where the media set up camp during the trial of O.J. Simpson. Recognizing the pervasiveness of violence in American society, our solution established a 'virtual' memorial garden on the internet that could be accessed by anyone, anywhere, anytime.
